非暴力コミュニケーションとは
非暴力コミュニケーション（Nonviolent Communication） は、アメリカの心理学者マーシャル・ローゼンバーグ博士により考え出され、発展してきました。非暴力コミュニケーションでは、自分と相手を尊重しながら、 お互いのニーズを平和に満たす方法を学びます。現在に焦点を当て、批判や非難ではない言葉で、お互いが感じている感情や望みを相手に伝える方法を学びます。非暴力コミュニケーションは、ビジネスの現場、学校や家庭などの身近な人間関係だけではなく、ルワンダ、コソボ、パレスチナなどの国際的な紛争地域に おいて、話し合いの手段として活用されています。 詳しくはCenter of Nonviolent Communication ホームページへ。(英語)
About Nonviolent Communication (NVC)
Nonviolent Communication (also known as Compassionate Communication) is a process language developed by Dr. Marshall B. Rosenberg, Ph D. It's aim is to meet everybody's needs while honoring yourself and others. We learn how to communicate by focusing on the present moment and honestly expressing our feelings and needs without moralistic judgment or criticism. Nonviolent communication can be used in daily life such as business situation, at school or at home. It has also been used as a means of conflict resolution in places such as Rwanda, Kosovo, and Palestine.
